Tetley Tea Summer Celebration Packs – Free Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”)

Please read these Prize Draw terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) carefully. By registering for the Prize Draw, “you” the “Entrant” are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted the Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter is TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS GB LIMITED (Company number: 03019950) with its registered office at 325 Oldfield Lane North, Greenford, Middlesex, UB6 OAZ (“TCP”).

Use of personal data:

By registering for this Prize Draw, all Entrants confirm that they have read the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available from Promoter’s website and agree to the Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of this Prize Draw. By submitting any information required as part of their participation in the Prize Draw, all Entrants agree to their information being held and processed in accordance with the GDPR, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. For the purposes of this clause (a) ‘GDPR’ means the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as it forms part of domestic law in the United Kingdom by virtue of section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (including as further amended or modified by the laws of the United Kingdom or of a part of the United Kingdom from time to time) and (b) the ‘UK GDPR’ means the retained EU law version of the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) as it forms part of the law of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland by virtue of section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 and as amended by Schedule 1 to the Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communications (Amendments etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (SI 2019/419).

All Entrants consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller, for the purposes of the administration of this Prize Draw, including latest offers available under the Prize Draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All registration instructions form part of the Terms and Conditions. The Promoter will always communicate responsibly under data protection legislation.
The Promoter takes data protection seriously and uses Entrants’ personal data for the purpose of the administration of this Prize Draw. For these purposes, the Promoter may share Entrants’ personal data with other group entities of Tata Consumer Products GB Limited. Entrants have the right to access the personal data that TCP holds about them and, if such personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, to request the rectification of such personal data. Depending on the circumstances, Entrants have a right to erasure, objection, restriction and data portability. Finally, if not happy with the way that TCP handle or process their personal data, the Entrant can always lodge a complaint with national data protection authority. Start and Closing date

The start date for entries to the Prize Draw is 00:00 on 13th June 2022.

The closing date for entries to the Prize Draw 23:59 on 1st July 2022.

Entries received after this time (whether or not they were sent before) will be void and will not be entered into this Prize Draw.

Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria shall apply:

To enter this Prize Draw, you must be a resident of England, Scotland or Wales.
The Prize Draw is open to persons within one of the 50 selected Compass sites who have downloaded and entered via the Tetley/compass web app.
The winners will be selected at random as soon as possible after the close of the Prize Draw.
There is a maximum of 50 packs available to win.
Entry is not open to anyone under the age of 18.
In entering the Prize Draw, the Entrant confirms that it meets the eligibility criteria and is eligible to claim the relevant Prize.
Entries are limited to one entry per Entrant. The Promoter may require any information that it considers reasonably necessary to verify an Entrant’s eligibility to enter the Prize Draw (including but not limited to, name, surname, work postcode and home address) and reserves the ability to withhold the Prize on the basis that an Entrant does not meet the eligibility criteria.
Internet access is required to enter the Prize Draw.

No payment is necessary to enter this promotion online.
The following persons are not eligible to enter:

TCP employees or workers, or the employees or workers of any company in the TCP group of companies;
employees or workers of any organisation involved in the operation or administration of this promotion including prize suppliers and advertising agencies; and
members of their immediate families or households of those listed in (a) and (b) immediately above.

Entries will be void if they:

do not comply with these terms and conditions;
are misspelt, incomprehensible, incomplete or illegible;
are submitted in bulk or
are considered by the promoter to be part of an attempt to manipulate or unfairly influence the outcome of this promotion.

TCP may ask for proof of age, residence or eligibility. Delay or failure to provide the evidence to TCP’s reasonable satisfaction may result in an entry being void or a prize being forfeited.
TCP’s decision as to whether an entrant (or their entry) is eligible for this Prize Draw is final and TCP is not obliged to provide any reasons for disqualification.
Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

The Prize:

The prize is a Tetley summer celebration pack which includes Tetley branded items and sample tea (the “Prize“).
There are a total of 50 Prizes to be won. No alternative prizes will be available.
The winner is responsible for any costs or expenses involved in claiming or using the Prize other than those that are expressly stated above as being included as part of the Prize.
The Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the supplier or other organisation connected to this promotion.
If necessary due to circumstances beyond TCP’s reasonable control, TCP may (at its option) substitute the Prize for a reasonable equivalent of equal or higher value.
The Prize is for the named winner only and cannot be given or transferred to any other person.

How to enter:

To enter you need to:

Scan the QR Code that is displayed on the ‘Summer celebration’ assets provided by TCP;
Sign-in to the Tetley app and enter the Prize Draw via the app entry form; and
Entrants will need to provide valid contact information.

All valid and completed entries will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw.

Responsibility is not accepted for any inaccuracies in the information supplied by the Entrant when providing their details and incomplete entries will not be accepted.

Selecting the winner

Within 14 working days of 1^st July 2022, two entries will be selected at random from the pool of qualifying entries using a computer program producing verifiably random results, in the presence of an independent witness.

The first 50 entries to be drawn will be the winners, and the 51^st entry to be drawn will be held in reserve for if any of the original winners is not awarded the Prize for any reason in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Once the 50 winning entries are validated, the Prize boxes will be sent out as soon as possible to the addresses supplied by the winning entrees. Tracking of these parcels will not be monitored, and TCP take no responsibility in lost, stolen or misplaced prize boxes.

Administration of the Prize Draw

Only one entry is permitted per Entrant and accounts created using automated devices or processes are not allowed. The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to disqualify an Entrant where (i) multiple accounts are suspected; (ii) where an entry is deemed inappropriate; or (iii) where the Entrant is in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time upon reasonable notice given to its Entrants if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make this necessary or unavoidable.
Responsibility is not accepted for Prizes or entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware, software failure of any kind or due to postage.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) caused by acceptance of the Terms and Conditions or in connection with the Prize Draw (to the extent permissible by law). Nothing in this clause shall limit the Promoter’s liability in respect of; (a) death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence; or (b) liability arising out of the Promoter’s fraud.
The Promoter reserves the right at any time to modify, discontinue (temporarily or permanently) the Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud).
In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be unlawful, invalid, void or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be severed from the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions which shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
The Promoter’s decision regarding all matters relating to the Prize Draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into in this respect.
